Living in Houston now but originally having grown up in NYC, I was oblivious to the world beyond. For most New Yorkers, we are convinced the world begins and ends there. You get lost in the fast pace of the city. It has so much to offer, the congested public transportation, the traffic, the small houses, the snow, outrageous win loss record for the NY Knicks…never mind, just remembered why I moved. But city really is full of life and it has so much to offer, so you don’t necessarily have that drive inside you to travel and see what else is out there. However, quick decisions, before the rationale kicks in, would inspire me otherwise. “Two roads diverged in a wood, and I took the one less traveled by.” I escaped from the jaws of the Big Apple and came to a city completely unknown for me, a weight lifted. So much more to see outside Times Sq. Now I want to travel, to explore, I want to see all that this world has to offer.
