What was your favorite memory from your destination wedding?
“Our favorite memory from our destination wedding was getting to spend time with our friends and family that traveled from all over. Not only was it a blast taking a vacation with the people we love, but by the end of the trip everyone had become great friends.”
Describe your wedding style:
“We really wanted the style of the wedding to reflect where we were. The decor was a vibrant mix of pinks, oranges and purple. We had beautiful exotic flowers and the ceremony took place under a wooden pergola. It was important to us that the ceremony was on the beach – not only did it provide a beautiful backdrop but there was a wonderful breeze and our guests were very relaxed.”
Describe your favorite detail of your wedding:
“Our favorite detail from the wedding was having my step-father marry us. We loved being able to personalize the wedding as much or as little as we wanted which made for an unforgettable day.”
Tell us about your experience working with Modern Destination Weddings:
“Our experience with Modern Destination Weddings was very positive. Heather was extremely knowledgeable and helped us narrow down a long list of destinations and hotels we could choose from. Heather walked us through step by step the process we would go through and responded quickly when we had questions or concerns. She was awesome! We had a rather large guest list for a destination wedding and Chris was very accommodating in helping each individual guest reserve their flights and/or hotel rooms. All our guests were happy with the service and made it to the Dominican Republic safely! “
