THE RESORT

Casa de Campo is a stunning resort that offers a combination of both fun and relaxation, making it perfect resort for destination weddings. Because the complex is so extensive at 7000 acres, many guests never find a reason to depart the property until the conclusion of their vacation. AMENITIES

Visit the luxury spa at Casa de Campo to experience the finest pampering treatments on the island, while the kids and teens stay supervised at their individual activity areas. Perhaps a bit of exercise is in order at the state-of-the-art wellness and fitness center at the resort. Countless intriguing pools grace the property and one is sure to be only steps from wherever you are. Whirlpools are connected to most of the pools, but several are tucked into more remote locations.

Choose from 265 standard rooms or nearly 100 villas to enjoy during your stay at Casa de Campo. Every room features a walk in closet, personal safe, ironing implements, separate dressing area, spacious baths, an entertainment center, mini-bar, and much more. Your private terrace is ideal for taking in the 24-hour room service, or simply enjoying the dramatic ocean or garden views. Villas include a few additional perks to accompany its larger size such as kitchenettes, seating areas, and private whirlpools.

Just about any cuisine you can envision can be found at one of the eighteen restaurants and delis within the confines of Casa de Campo. Everything from white glove dining to casual fare can be experienced right here, and several of the resorts are family owned establishments that offer personalized service beyond your expectations. Choose from the elegant wine bar, the exciting sports bar, or any of the other dozen bars and lounges onsite.

ACTIVITIES

The marina provides excitement for serious boating enthusiasts seeking charters, cruises, and deep-sea fishing excursions. Guests at Casa de Campo may participate in windsurfing, aqua cycles, snorkeling, horseback riding, tennis courts, a shooting center, river fishing, and other activities with the inclusive plan; however, some such as polo and golf incur additional charges. Golfers can choose from three challenging championship courses, including the Teeth of the Dog, the Caribbean’s number one golf course.

Casa de Campo’s villas offer a private home setting, complete with living room, dining room, kitchen, patio, private garden plus pool, a full range of V.I.P. amenities and personalized concierge services. All Villas have microwave oven in the kitchen and a hairdryer in each bathroom. Each bedroom is air conditioned, has a safe deposit box and has its own bathroom. The Beach Club by Le Cirque – An unforgettable dining experience for lunch and dinner at the newly renovated restaurant on private Minitas Beach! Enjoy tropical breezes and breathtaking views as you dine on delicious seafood, grilled meats, pasta, fresh salads and side dishes along with amazing desserts.

La Caña by Il Circo – For a light lunch or fine dining, enjoy Mediterranean cuisine specialties prepared by chefs from the noted Circo restaurants in New York and Las Vegas. Located in the main area of the resort, choose air-conditioned indoor dining or enjoy the tropical breezes outside on the terrace with views of the pools and gardens. Open noon to 11pm

La Piazzetta – Gourmet Italian restaurant featuring antipasto selections, home- made pasta dishes and authentic main courses that epitomize the traditions of Italian cuisine from the various regions of Italy. Dine in the rustic ambiance of the Mediterranean with strolling musicians, cobblestone and ceramic tile. Open Friday through Monday 6pm to 11pm

Lago Grill – An open-air eatery with breakfast and lunch buffets overlooking the Teeth of the Dog´s 18th hole and the Caribbean Sea. Lago Grill will wake you up with Caribbean delights including fresh tropical fruit and juice blends, made-to-order omelets, homemade baked goods, plus a full array of hot & cold breakfast choices. For lunch enjoy the delicious fresh grill buffet, made-to-order pastas & sauces, flavorful local dishes and a complete salad bar. Open seasonal

La Casita – La Casita offers guests a choice of succulent seafood specialties, fine Spanish cuisine, a variety of tapas, sumptuous deserts and refreshing cocktails. Chinois – Enjoy pan-Asian flavors, sample Cantonese specialties, Japanese sushi, sashimi and other Oriental dishes. Oneburger – A basic, yet gourmet/boutique burger of only the finest high quality ingredients available. The dozens of burger menu options at the Altos de Chavon restaurant is broken down into four categories: beef, chicken/turkey & veal, seafood and vegetarian. Le Boulanger – The ideal pre/post concert spot or when you are sightseeing at Altos de Chavon, Le Boulanger features deli-style sandwiches, entrees, salads, pizzas, traditional Dominican & international desserts and more. Enjoy a delicious cup of coffee or an Italian cappuccino & wonderful fresh goodies from the bakery. The food is inexpensive and fast. (Not Included in Resort Inclusive Supplement) 7:30am to 10pm

Peperoni – Dine in the formal dining room, or under a canopy outside for a slightly less formal experience. Featuring a wide variety of fare from fine imported steaks, to sushi and pasta, with top notch service provided by an impeccable staff. Pizzeria Ristorante Limoncello – Features simple and genuine Italian / Mediterranean cuisine including homemade pasta, fresh seafood, and its´ specialty: wood oven pizza. Onno’s Bar – Features an amazing array of Tapas and delicious cuisine in a casual ambiance. Omelets in the morning, tapas or tasty burgers and sandwiches for lunch. Swing by for a cool tropical drink (Onno´s has over 100 to choose from) or an afternoon cappuccino or quick espresso! Evening menus feature fabulous salads, baguettes, sandwiches, and numerous varieties of Tapas, plus daily chef´s specials – including genuine Dominican cuisine!! Coco Mar – Cool off with luscious Caribbean concoctions and cocktails at private Minitas Beach. Be sure to try our famous pina coladas served in fresh pineapples. 10 am – 6 pm

The 19th Hole – This bar faces the famous Teeth of the Dog course and is the perfect place to stop and recharge after a day driving, chipping and putting in the sun. Build your own sandwich down to the last detail and then enjoy the view of the golf course and the Caribbean Sea. Visit the Golf Pro Shop right next door for the latest Casa de Campo golf wear.

La Terraza Bar – Giving new meaning to the term sweet spot, La Terraza is perched high above the tennis center´s 13 courts, with a long, rolling panorama of the Caribbean Sea. Sip a refreshing, energizing drink while you break from playing on the perfectly manicured courts and let the sea air cool you. Enjoy a quick dip in the pool right behind the cafe area. 8 am – 7 pm

Papa Jacks Bar – A cozy neighborhood bar where you can enjoy drinks inside or outside in the old world ambiance of Altos de Chavon; light snacks and free Wi Fi are also available. Open daily, 6:30 pm – 12 midnight
