“Our favorite memory from our wedding is difficult to choose, as there are so many! Our wedding day was absolutely magical, there is no other way to describe it. Our favorite memory would have to be the spontaneous change in our schedule for our couples photo location.

We had originally decided to take photos on the beach, after our ceremony – However, our photographers noticed that we were both intrigued by a large and very unique looking tree, located only a short walk from our ceremony site.

We learned that this beautiful tree is called a “strangler tree”, and is native to Costa Rica.  We were told that the tree we took photos under had to be over 300 years old, which absolutely facinated us.  Most of our couples photos were taken under this tree, and they are absolutely beautiful and unique.

When we were getting ready to wrap up our couples photo session and head to our reception – the evening sky became ablaze with a gorgeous sunset vibrant with oranges, pinks, and purples.  With little time to spare, we quickly positioned ourselves for our photographers to capture us beneath the stunning sky.

The day was perfect, and the location definitely had an element of magic and wonder.  We are so thankful for these precious moments we shared together, and so happy to have them captured in photographs.”
