What was your favorite memory from your destination wedding?
“Gosh, this is a hard one! Every moment of our destination wedding was our favorite. The best part about it was that we got to spend so much quality time with our loved ones. Weddings in general go by so quick and after putting so much time and effort into planning it was so nice to actually be able to sit back, relax and enjoy that time with our guests in such a beautiful place. From our actual wedding day, our favorite moment was getting to walk into the reception just the two of us and soaking it all in. We had a moment to dance with no one around (but our vendors and staff) and then we danced our way over to the tequila bar and took a shot just the two of us!”
Describe your wedding style:
“My wedding style was inspired by the natural beauty of Mexico and the resort that our wedding was held at, so if I had to pick a few words to describe my wedding style it would be: tropical, natural, and simple, but FUN! I incorporated a lot of tropical greenery into our day, with natural elements and neutral colors for the wedding party and details. I also decided to keep décor simple, but wanted everyone to have fun! For example, we incorporated a lot of tequila into our reception – we had tequila shots for our guest seating and we had a big tequila bar that lit up the night!”
Describe your favorite detail of your wedding:
“This is another hard one! I loved every detail of our wedding, so I have to name a few. I think my flowers were definitely one of them. The first time I saw my bouquets I literally cried because they were so beautiful! Also, my shoes and our wedding invitations are some of my other favorite details from our wedding. I searched high and low to find someone who could help make wedding invitations that looked like real passports and I fell in love with the design studio I found to help me custom build ours. We got so many compliments from our guests!”
