What was your favorite memory from your destination wedding?
“We could never pick just one! We chose a destination wedding because almost all of our guests live out of state and across the country. So the whole week was incredible getting to spend so much time with friends and family we rarely get to see once a year. This was the trip of a lifetime and we made so many amazing memories. Our private rehearsal dinner with a cigar roller on site was pretty neat though!”
Describe your wedding style:
“Beach glam, if that’s a thing, haha! I wanted everyone to be comfortable and relaxed but still feel like there were some special details that made it worth them traveling so far, and I think we nailed it!”
Describe your favorite detail of your wedding:
“The chandelier we added above our sweetheart table. It was so gorgeous against the ocean behind us and really added that “oooh, ahhh” factor to our reception.”
Tell us about your experience working with Modern Destination Weddings:
“It was the best decision we made. Until we found MDW I wasn’t sure how we’d ever be able to sort through all of the resorts and locations and coordinate with our guests. Heather made the process simple and was there every step of the way. The MDW team helped our guests with their travel arrangements so I could focus on other aspects of the wedding planning. It just made everything so much easier!”
