What was your favorite memory from your destination wedding?
“My favorite memory was doing our private vows overlooking the ocean, we did them in the middle of the ceremony and it was so peaceful and allowed me to take in the moment. I would say my other favorite memory would be having all of my close friends and family blending together in a way that they couldn’t have if I would’ve had a traditional wedding style, Everyone truly bonded.”
Describe your wedding style:
“My wedding style was very classic, timeless and I would say tasteful. I did not want anything too bold or out there, I wanted classic colors- blush and Mauve with gold accents. I wanted the resort to really stand out with all of the beautiful greenery and touches they already did so well with!”
Describe your favorite detail of your wedding:
“I really enjoyed the food, Unico has simply the best food and the spread that they put together for our wedding was amazing. Everyone commented on how good our wedding food was, and all of the vendors I worked with at an amazing job. The DJ with simply the best and I would say he was the highlight of our wedding!”
Tell us about your experience working with Modern Destination Weddings:
“From the start I had interviewed several companies to work with, I figured I would only enjoy being a bride if I felt like I could trust the process with the team that I put in place. The second I met with Itzel and Kendyll I knew that they were my dream team! I would say my favorite part of working with them is they really truly listened. They did not tell me what I should want or do, but rather listen to what I desired and gave me options. The team was so caring and touched base with me often. The room block situation was so easy with modern destination weddings! The room block and organizing was one of my biggest stressors to have to manage, but I didn’t have to touch it— their travel team was on top of everything!!! My other favorite part of working with them as they had contracts for everything, so I really knew what the agreement was that I was getting into!! Our wedding simply would not have been the same without this team, I didn’t know that my big day could be so perfect- thanks to modern destination weddings we have the best memories to look back on!”
