Katie & Marc

Wedding Date: 7/30/2016
The Royal Playa del Carmen

“Our favorite memory was having all our family and friends there to celebrate with us in Playa del Carmen. We will never forget all the laughs and time spent with everyone during the week. The beach all white night party was another favorite! Having our feet in the sand and everyone in white was the perfect beach picture we will remember forever. I had tears when I came around the corner to start walking down the isle to see all the smiling faces there for Marc and I.”

“Our wedding was classic/bohemian and very romantic. Because the ceremony was in the gazebo I did not pick the “typical beach wedding dress” instead I fell in love with a Hawaiian lace Enzoani gown that had an exquisite train. The colors that I had envisioned were all white and ivory with touches of very pale rose/blush and champagne. I incorporated greenery in all the bouquets and centerpieces on all the tables. The reception was in the garden where all the tables had different sizes and levels of vases filled with beautiful assortments of white flowers.”

“In the central garden we had a light up glass dance floor and strings of romantic lights hanging above us. They set the mood for the reception to be very romantic and beautiful. I felt like a princess because I had twinkling lights above me the whole night! During our first dance the sun was setting perfectly in the background, which made for the most amazing pictures.”

“Modern Destination Weddings made the wedding booking process simple for all our guests and Marc and I.  I cannot thank Itzel and Chris enough for all their hard work and dedication to us! Coordinating 80 people with flights, transfers, and room accommodations can be challenging but their knowledge and patience shinned through. Thank you for making our dream wedding come true!”
